It all begins with a flower. We like to think that our starting point is the flower which, once pollinated, gives life to the grain of rice. It is one of life’s most fundamental laws. Our work is life in all its forms: from the premium nourishment of the rice we produce to the complex natural ecosystem that surrounds it.
The Land as a Life Generator. At the heart of everything is the land we cultivate—one of the world’s most powerful generators of life. We love our land unconditionally. We call it “ours,” though we know perfectly well it is not. We are merely passing through; the land remains. Our only legacy will be the merit of having made it more fertile, of having defended it, and having enhanced its value.
Heritage and Innovation. We have been farmers for generations, consistently employing the most advanced techniques in both integrated and organic farming. The progress we have achieved over the years never ceases to amaze us, yet we always strive to do better. Our life is a continuous quest—an educational process that never ends. We have a hunger for knowledge, for experience, and for scientific study.
Integrity and Commitment. We were raised to be loyal, ethical, and helpful. We recognize that we are not infallible, but we will always commit ourselves to giving our absolute best. We believe that Zaccaria rices carry with them the authenticity of our way of being.
